These are my tradition mages, played over several games and over many many years. They're all available for lines and subject to appear in any of my personal writing. I try really hard not to play the mages they were intwined with and played by other people but sometimes that's just not possible. Their fates and stories are too mingled. See some familiar faces?
Name: Jacob Lillian Mullgrove (McDonnell)

Spheres: Correspondence, Time and Life
Paradigm: Pure ego, man recreated God out of machine, the natural next evolution. Jake believes that humans are evolving in their own right and proving themselves to be worthy creators. The old gods have outlived their usefulness and ought to be put aside for all time so that man can step up and take his place. She envisions a full merger between machine and human but doesn't see it as a loss of humanity in the least. She see's it as perfecting the design. The arrival of magic in her life merely heralds the beginning of the end for the 'meat world', a world of poverty, hunger and disease, and the dawn of an age of pure thought.
Name: Turlough Cassius McDonnell

Tradition: Euthanatos

Paradigm: The family motto, 'God's Chosen Gun' fully applies to this McDonnell however, unlike his brother, he doesn't take his orders from the blessed virgin. His avatar manifests as a small boy, perhaps himself as a child, and calls himself The Last Good Child. Turlough believes they are in the midst of Armageddon and God has already taken all of the faithful with the exception of himself, and his family, left behind to perform their ancient service in the name of the Lord. They have to tip the scales any way they can, try to save those who were unsaved and banish the monsters back to Hell. He keeps all of this on the down low, however, fully aware of how mad it sounds. He isn't entirely convinced that his sanity has been spared. He lives in fear of Quiet.

Paradigm: All things come from and return to the great pool of energy which forms and spawns life in their reality. It flows through all people and touches them with the unconscious hopes and dreams and thoughts and loves and hates. If someone were to be aware of the ebbing and flowing of these energies they could drink deep from them and perform magic that is out of reach of any
one person, but utterly attainable by using the combined will of
all people. Read sees himself as a conduit, transformer and outlet of this energy.

Paradign: All of the magic in the world not only
can be written but it
must be. In order for it to be performed, magic must come out of the will and mind of the mage and be transformed through the ritual of recording. Tried and true methods can be examined and perfected and fine tuned. They can be practiced and studied and shared with other like-minded magi. Most importantly, it can be trusted to one's followers and acolytes, taught to them and kept secret from the world that would misuse it. Magic is a lofty responsibility in her mind. She caretakes it very seriously.

Paradigm: Raised on tales of faeries and old ones and spirits from the Old World, Allie was basted in fantasy when she was a child. Split between two parents, half her life spent in one city and half in the other, the dream world was her only constant companion. It didn't even shock her as a child when the stories became real for her. Allie eased into Wakefulness at a young age. Spirits and fae came easily to her in her father's garden and the Spirit Forest outside her mother's home in Las Vegas was a wonderland for the girl. As she grew to understand her magic she viewed it as a gift issued in trust from the spirits she spoke with and so Allie never fails to give thanks and leave gifts and maintain small shrines.

Paradigm: Ginger's early years were spent in chaos and uncertainty from a broken home to the streets and the sordid sex industry. Despite her somewhat sad beginnings she found her greatest joys which brought her into a new state of balance. She met her master, Ahn Twan Bou, who taught her the ways of the mind and body and brought her into a state of balance. When a person is in total balance they can create and attaine fantastic things. Their mind and body can excel beyond the norm and work magic.
